Cleansing The Body - September 10th, 2009

Have you ever had a plumbing problem and had to call a plumber out to take a look at your pipes? Then when he gets there he tells you that you have a fairly serious problem and he is going to have to go into the pipes to clean them out. He then goes to his truck and comes back with this device or tool called a “snake” and begins to run it as far down the pipe he can to loosen any debris that may have clogged the pipe.

If you have experienced this before then you will also be able to recall the foul odor that then comes once he completes this task. This odor usually stems from food and other waste that has built up and is now clogging the pipe. Some of this waste makes its way back up the pipe via the “snake” and sits in your house until cleaned up. It is not a pretty site. Usually a darker colored slime is what it looks like. At the conclusion of this process he will give some instruction on how to better maintain your pipes so this problem does not occur again. This whole process sounds fairly familiar to me. Sounds to me like we should eat right and exercise so we don’t need some guy we don’t know very well taking a look at our pipes
